Vi siete mai chiesti come passano il Natale gli Italiani in Kuwait?
Magari il Kuwait no, ma diciamo: come è il giorno di Natale in un posto dove il Natale non esiste?
Il Kuwait è un Paese musulmano, così come tutto il Medioriente tutto il Nordafrica ma anche L’Indonesia e la Malesia. Poi contate anche la Cina, la Thailandia e in generale l’oriente. Insomma in gran parte del mondo il Natale non esiste, il 25 dicembre si lavora, perché le persone che festeggiano il Natale sono poche rispetto alla popolazione totale. Non fa parte della loro tradizione.
È questione di tradizione, il Natale è la mia festa più bella, quella dei regali, quella che stai con le persone che ti vogliono bene.
In Kuwait invece è una giornata come le altre, cristiani e musulmani si scambiano gli auguri, ma non è un giorno di vacanza, e la festa resta sfera privata delle singole famiglie che vivono all’estero.
Ma grazie allo spirito e alla decisione di alcune persone che si prendono la responsabilità di far rivivere queste tradizioni nei paesi che li ospitano, oggi ci sono bazar, cene di Natale, e diciamo, si respirare lo spirito nel Natale ovunque.
E questa è una cosa bella, perché respirare il Natale è come respirare ottimismo, amore e voglia di rendere il mondo un luogo migliore.
