Stiamo assistendo ad un nuovo rinascimento dell’audio, che va oltre la radio, è quello dell’on demand, ma allora, come possiamo sfruttare appieno questa possibilità?
I podcast sono un buon modo, ma ovviamente come tutte le cose, bisogna poi farlo conoscere, un podcast o qualunque contenuto tu faccia.
La notizia recente è che Spotify ha lanciato il suo Ad Studio anche in Italia, prima era aperto sono a stati uniti Canada Australia nl e Inghilterra, ora si può fare advertising autonomamente su Spotify anche in Italia.
Turorial all’Ad Studio di Spotify
Ti faccio una analisi di contesto in Italia e sulla possibilità per chiunque di fare pubblicità.
Per richiedere l’accesso devi:
1. Fare richiesta sul sito di Ad Studio, alla voce dove puoi richiedere l’accesso all’advertising.
2. Avere un account Spotify Italiano
Sarà il Sales department di Spotify che ti contatterà e ti abilità l’account.
Per il momento acesso è limitatissismo a pochi: si viene ricontattati direttamente da un operatore di Spotify che ti abilita l’account .
Per il momento Spotify da questa possibilità alle case di produzione musicali o di produzione podcast, artisti o musicisti indipendenti e podcaster producer.
Io ho fatto richiesta a febbraio di quest anno e ho dovuto aspettare due mesi, però al tempo ancora non era stato lanciato il servizio in Italia e credo di essere stato uno dei primi a fare quella richiesta, tra l’altro dall’estero. Oggi i tempi non dovrebbero essere così lunghi.
Come funziona il Pagamento?
ll pagamento della pubblicità viene saldato a fine mese con emissione di fattura da Spotify italia che tu paghi tramite bonifico.
Siamo ancora all’inizio e per l’Italia non è ancora abilitato il pagamento con carta di credito.
Questa procedura è sempre stata così, mi ricordo che quando Twitter aprì all’advertising mi contattarono allo stesso modo quelli del management di Twitter per fare la stessa cosa: fattura a fine mese.
Budget minima è 250 dollari, ma non è che devi spenderli tutti.
Tu hai la reportistica in tempo reale, avvii la campagna col budget di 250 dollari e quando arrivi a 50 euro, puoi tranquillamente bloccarla e pagare a fine mese la tua fattura di 50 euro, o quanto hai speso.
Se hai fretta di avere un account e passa troppo tempo o non vuoi pagare con fattura e bonifico, puoi in alternativa switchare il tuo profilo Spotify all’Inghilterra, attivi una VPN che ti permette di registrate, e ti fai una carta prepagata revolut.
Revolut ha carte prepagate valide in Italia con conto in Inghilterra. Sono gratuite, arrivano in tempi brevissimi e che puoi richiedere gratuitamente all’indirizzo Crogna.li/revolut
Come funziona l’Ad Studio?
La piattaforma per fare advertising su Spotify è stata sviluppata direttamente da Spotify, ma il layout è davvero moltosimile a quello di Facebook, quindi se hai già fatto Adv e ti trovare a tuo agio con la piattaforma di Facebook, quella di Spotify è la stessa.
Ti restituisce una reportistica in real time dell’andamento della campagna e c’è solo una opzione di pagamento che è quella del costo per impressione, che viene definito dalla piattaforma in base al tuo Setup di campagna: quindi paghi un tot per ogni volta che la campagna viene mostrata, ascoltata, anche se non è cliccata.
Puoi trasmettere una pubblicità di 30 sec in audio.
Conclusioni
La pubblicità costa e se non si è chiaro il ritorno, anche economico di quanto investi, è meglio cominciare con altro, tipo le Pr e gli endorsment di influencer, per farsi conoscere, attività che possono anche essere gratuite.
Se fai pubblicità giusto per far conoscere il tuo podcast, che la capisco come mentalità, quando smetti di investire, velocemente come ti hanno conosciuto, ti dimenticano.
Invece se spendi soldi in adv con una solido meccanismo di ritorno dell’investimento dietro anche economico, è molto meglio.
