Opportunity on Pompei

The Association for Pompei is launching a new “Competition for ideas and technological innovation projects for Pompeii excavations”.

Scope of this competition is the promotion of ideas that  could enhance the quality of visitors’ experiences and that could improve the knowledge of this outstanding archaeological heritage. The competition represents a unique opportunity to connect history with innovation.

Italian researchers and Italian private businesses are eligible to apply. Researchers may participate individually or either in groups. The application form  is available on the association main site: www.associazioneperpompei.it

The selection process will identify the best five projects submitted by researchers and the best five projects proposed by private businesses for a total of ten. Awarded projects will be presented in a workshop to be held in Naples in November.

All eligible applicants must send their application before the 15^th of July 2010.
