Journalists to Analyze Science in a New Light

The fusion of science with mass communication results in Precision Journalism. Precision Journalism awards more honest results in reporting by using effective scientific methods to calculate and analyze data. Currently it is neither well-known nor widely practiced, yet the field is rapidly growing due to its capacity to enrich journalism.  Precision Journalism approaches journalism as if it were a science. Using the scientific method and objectives, more reliable mass communication is produced. In fact, there are many common points between the work of the journalist and the scientist. Precision Journalism aims to push the profession of journalist toward science. Incorporating efficient scientific methods of analysis to collect and analyze data, the discipline gives a simple and verifiable truth to data that was once difficult to decipher.
